I imagine the result might look a bit like the Wembley show on 'Vehicle Of Spirit' -- as opposed to the Tampere show from the same DVD -- with the cameras mostly looking up to the stage instead of down. It does give off a different vibe, more intimidating. But it may take a year or more before any of this is released... I could see a live DVD launching late 2023 during the lead-up to the new album release early in 2024.

For sure, performing for her home crowd and being filmed must have given her extra energy! I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to perform at this level for two nights in a row, one needs to be in top physical and mental shape. 💪👀 With you being a fan of both Floor and Nightwish, it must have been a special moment back when it was made known that she would be joining the band!

Yes, looking forward to that song. I wonder if it's a duet with the other featured Paolo guy, or will Diana be singing as well? That also rekindles the idea that Marko might return as a guest in future Delain live performances... Just an empty hope, probably! Anyway, here's the video for Beneath. I find Diana sounding less like Charlotte on this one, but the song does not stray very far from the Delain beaten path.

With Floor singing 'The Phantom Of The Opera' with Nightwish tonight, I had to update a numbers of lists! For the record, Floor has performed 65 different Nightwish songs live, of which 53 have been released on DVD/BR over the years. Hopefully Tribal, Shoemaker and The Phantom will be also included on a future physical release! In case you're wondering, Tarja has performed live 49 different NW songs during her time in the band, and Anette almost as many -- 45.

Thinking of it, it's also a first for Jukka, Troy and Kai playing 'The Phantom' live. Of the current line-up only Emppu and Tuomas were in the band back in 2005. Now I don't expect them to play it ever again after tomorrow's show, unless perhaps when they return to Amsterdam during the next tour. I don't think they would want to play it using recorded Henk tracks! Floor mentions at the start of Storytime that the show is being recorded. Makes sense to record back-to-back shows in Amsterdam in order to have back-up footage. Hopefully the show will become something more than a streaming release on STACCS. 🙄 Is that thing even still alive? A physical release of this show would be great, we would then have The Phantom, Shoemaker, Tribal on Blu-ray, plus 7 Days with this line-up. Some of which was played and recorded for the first virtual show, but that recording is not widely available for purchase.

There's a nice recording from part of the Dublin show available, and Floor is saying that this is the first show for Nightwish in Ireland in 14 years (2008), and therefore it's also her first. 👀 So Ireland was skipped for three whole tours. 🤔
