Highlights from the Chaoszine interview: Ewo is the one who comes up with the funny names for the various fake cover bands. Although they enjoyed the experience Tuomas doesn't expect more virtual shows for Nightwish, however a Blu-Ray will be made out of the two shows. 🤘 After the first Auri album, and even more so after the second album, Tuomas has the feeling that what began as a project is actually a band that will keep going for a long time. He sees Auri doing ten albums, numbered 1 to 10 of course. 🙄😁 Writing for Nightwish and Auri both comes from a place of freedom, but the historical dynamics within Nightwish makes it a bit different than Auri which is possibly a place of even greater freedom and friendship. (I'm paraphrasing a bit here) Tuomas is also quite excited about the idea of a short tour with Auri whenever Nightwish duties allow, including material from the two albums and possibly some cover songs.

Is there any interest in this? I'm talking mostly about singer outfits through the years, because the boys have been pretty bland/conservative in that area. Well maybe Tuomas' hats and Marko's trousers can be mentioned. 😁 Anyway, Tarja and Floor have used a limited numbers of stage outfits during each tour, while Anette has (if memory serves) changed outfits more often, but they were in general less elaborate. Let's see if I can dig out some pictures. Some random thoughts relating to Nightwish' singers: This is interesting, I can't figure out which gigs Zachary is alluding to. He mentions Pakkahuone Tampere with Stratovarius, could it be July 12, 2006? No mention of Tarot being there though. And Tarot in Cologne could be February 8, 2007 but there's no mention of Diablo. Just trying to figure out how early on the choice was set on Anette as the new singer! 😁 Oh wait someone else commented: What were Nightwish doing in Cologne in February 2007? On his Facebook Kai answers some questions about the new stage setup: Q: Kai, why did you change the stage setup and pushed your drum kit from the center? A: this way my drums won’t leak to floors vocal mic so much and will make her much easier to sing live with clearer sound in her ears with less ”noise” from cymbals and snare... other option would have been a plexi glass around the drums, but this was a better choice. Q: You removed the left crash as well, was that to make it easier to play the china? Cause now you got a second gong bass as well. Cheers! A: no, it is because i didn’t see tuomas or troy anymore. I use that left crash the least so i made a decision that it is more important to have a connection between my bandmates or have that china blocking the view...

Thanks for the memories, Moondance! Well, I didn't get to see Anette live, but I wish I could have. She wasn't perfect live, but most of the time from what I can see and what I remember reading from that era the showgoers had a good time anyway. Also during this second tour, Anette was singing more to her strengths, mainly songs from her two albums instead of the old stuff. But it's a topic for another time! 😁 The two albums with Anette were hugely successful, so no wonder that so many new fans jumped onboard during those years. I remember one of the first videos of Nightwish I saw back around 2015 was Amaranth, and while I was confused (she didn't look like the other Valkyrie in Ghost Love Score!) I still liked the voice and the song. Did you end up getting any merchandise that night? I couldn't find a poster from that same show, but here's one from a few days later, also with Kamelot. Good photo I think! Oh and there are a few recordings of songs from your show on Youtube, apparently. The poor sound quality and image is of course nothing like being there yourself!
